Privacy Policy
Effective August 10, 2026
This policy explains how GameHQ handles information when people use our websites, applications, scoring tools, public team hubs, and related services.
Information we collect
- Account information: email address, display name, authentication provider, role and sport preferences.
- Competition information: teams, leagues, tournaments, rosters, schedules, scoresheets, statistics, awards, availability, messages and media submitted by authorized users.
- Transaction information: invoice and payment status. Payment-card details are handled by the payment provider and are not stored by GameHQ.
- Technical information: browser, device, approximate network location, security events, diagnostics and interaction data needed to operate and protect the service.
- Support information: messages and attachments you send when requesting help or reporting a problem.
How we use information
We use information to authenticate users, provide sport and competition workflows, publish records users intentionally make public, send requested notifications, process transactions, prevent abuse, investigate incidents, support users, and improve reliability.
Public and private records
Public team, league, tournament, schedule, roster, statistics, media and award pages may be visible without signing in. Private records are restricted using account, membership and administrator permissions. Organizers are responsible for selecting appropriate visibility and having authority to publish submitted information.
When information is shared
We share information with the team, league or tournament participants authorized to see it; with infrastructure, authentication, email, notification, analytics and payment providers that help operate GameHQ; when a user directs us to publish or export it; or when required to protect people, the service, or comply with law. We do not sell personal information.
Children and youth participants
GameHQ is intended to be configured by adults and authorized sports organizations. Adults who submit information about a minor must have authority and any required guardian consent. Do not place sensitive contact, medical, payment or internal notes about minors on public pages. Contact us if information about a child should be reviewed or removed.
Retention, correction and deletion
We retain information while an account, competition record, legal obligation, security need or legitimate operational purpose requires it. Some finalized competition records may remain as historical public records where the responsible organizer has chosen that purpose. You may ask to access, correct, export or delete personal information; some requests require verification and may be limited by legal, fraud-prevention, backup or record-integrity requirements.
Security
GameHQ uses access controls, row-level database policies, encryption in transit, restricted administrative credentials, monitoring and abuse controls. No online service can guarantee absolute security. Please report suspected vulnerabilities through the security contact on our Contact page.
International use and changes
GameHQ and its providers may process information in countries other than yours. We may update this policy as the service and legal requirements change; the effective date above will be revised when material changes are published.
